All-in-one
Our advantage is that everything needed for metal product manufacturing can be done in-house. We have a fully equipped production base that includes pipe cutting, CNC plasma cutting, drilling, pipe and metal sheet bending and rolling, welding, powder coating, and assembly. This enables faster and more cost-effective production, even for a single product unit or prototype needed by the client for product evaluation.

The first contract is signed for the serial production of storage equipment.
The first large-scale project, a combined tea drying plant, is completed. The client is the Association “Penktas regionas”. The drying plant is still in successful use today.
Since it was not legally possible to change the legal entity from a public limited liability company to a limited liability company, a completely new company is created under the name UAB GAMYBA.
A former boiler house and its land are bought in Butrimoni (Alytus district) and industrial premises are set up. Until then, activities were carried out in rented premises. The location was chosen for its price and for its powerful electricity and gas connections.
The trade mark VJ METALAS is replaced by GMB.
A powder-coating plant is being set up. The service is being rolled out both to external customers and for the painting of own products. The VJ METALAS brand is used for painting services and the GMB brand is used for manufacturing.
Purchase a used ESAB CXC sheet cutter. It is being refurbished, with new automation, servo drives, etc. CNC plasma cutting service to be launched.
We try to produce standard products for the home. We start trading on the pigu.lt platform, participate in several exhibitions, and set up several specialised online stores. And then we realise that we are moving away from our goals, not closer to them, by trying. Therefore, as regrettable as the work has been, it is being discontinued.
We decide to distinguish between the three main activities of the company: products, projects and services. This website is being developed. A single brand, GMB, is being launched for everything.
